It is my mission to PROVIDE A SAFE AND POSITIVE SPACE FOR PEOPLE WITHIN THE MUSIC COMMUNITY AND BEYOND TO BUILD ON THEIR FITNESS. A SPACE WHERE PEOPLE ARE EXCITED TO EXERCISE BECAUSE IT’S FUN AND ALIGNS WITH THEIR INTERESTS. The benefits of a regular movement practice are endless — improved confidence, mental clarity, reduced anxiety and depression, and MANY physical benefits for a longer and more fulfilled life. I sequence my classes so that you can achieve a flow state as you sweat, which like a meditation, gives your mind a break from the stresses of everyday life to work towards equilibrium. It’s a no-brainer, a total game-changer, and I can’t wait to share this with you.

I STARTED THIS BRAND IN EARLY 2019 AT 25 YEARS OLD, AFTER YEARS OF ATTENDING FITNESS CLASSES THAT DIDN’T ALIGN WITH MY MUSICAL TASTES. I WAS LEAVING SO MANY CLASSES FEELING I COULD HAVE FELT SO MUCH MORE IN THE ZONE TO PUSH MYSELF OR BE IN A FLOW STATE, IF I FELT CONNECTED WITH THE SOUNDTRACK. I’D ALSO ATTENDED LOTS OF CLASSES THAT OFTEN USED TOXIC MOTIVATIONAL LANGUAGE TO PUSH PEOPLE AND, AS SOMEBODY WHO HAD BEEN FIGHTING AN INTERNAL STRUGGLE WITH BODY IMAGE AND FOOD, IT WAS FUELLING NEGATIVE THOUGHT PATTERNS.
I HAD BEEN COLLECTING RECORDS AND PLAYING AT HOME FOR ABOUT ONE YEAR WHEN THE IDEA OF MERGING THE TWO THINGS TOGETHER CAME TO MIND. I WANTED TO COMBINE MY TWO FAVOURITE THINGS IN THE WORLD—MUSIC AND MOVEMENT. I STARTED TO DREAM ABOUT HOW COOL IT WOULD BE TO PLAN AND RECORD A MIX AND THEN A CHOREOGRAPH A CREAITIVE MOVEMENT ROUTINE TO FLOW WITH THE ENERGY AND JOURNEY OF THE SET. SURELY CREATING THIS CONCEPT WOULD ALSO CREATE A FITNESS SPACE FOR PEOPLE WITHIN THE MUSIC COMMUNITY TO CONNECT OUTSIDE OF THE DANCEFLOOR WHILST WORKING ON THEIR WELLBEING. A POSITIVE, FUN, INCLUSIVE SPACE TO GET PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY STRONGER AND TO PROVIDE MORE BALANCE BETWEEN THE LIFESTYLES THAT CAN SOMETIMES FEEL DISCONNECTED.
AS SOON AS THE IDEA BECAME PROMINENT IN MY MIND, I COULDN’T LET IT GO. I HAD BEEN ATTENDING EXERCISE-TO-MUSIC CLASSES FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS BUT HAD ONLY RECENTLY DISCOVERED BARRE (PROUNOUNCED BAR). BARRE WAS PERFECT— IT WAS EVERYTHING I LOVED ABOUT MY FITNESS CLASSES AND MORE. MOVEMENT ON THE BEAT OF THE MUSIC ✔ FLOWING ROUTINES WHERE ONE MOVEMENT LINKED INTO THE NEXT ✔ AND POSTURES THAT FELT LENGHTENING, GRACEFUL, FIERCE AND CHALLENGING AT THE SAME TIME ✔ (I ALSO ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A BALLERINA WHEN I WAS YOUNG, SO I’D BE LYING IF ME DOING THIS JOB ISN’T PARTLY ME LIVING OUT MY CHILDHOOD DREAM!)
SO I TRAINED UP AS AN INSTRUCTOR ALONGSIDE WORKING A FULL-TIME EVENTS ROLE AND STARTED TEACHING MY WEEKLY CLASS IN THE EVENTS SPACE CALLED “LUMB’S BUMS + TUMS” HAHA. WE ADDED ANOTHER TWO TO THE SCHEDULE AND THEY WERE ALL FULLY BOOKED. MANY OF THE CLIENTS WERE TALKING TO ME ABOUT THE MUSIC AND IT CEMENTED THE NEED FOR THIS, SO I QUIT MY JOB AND DECIDED TO TAKE IT FULL-TIME.
AT THIS POINT, I THINK “LUMB’S BUMS + TUMS” NEEDED A SWITCH UP, SO PANORAMA BARRE WAS BORN HERE. IT MADE PERFECT SENSE— DJ SETS + BARRE CLASS = PANORAMA BARRE (NAMED AFTER A CLUB IN BERLIN).

Today I’ve taught this class at some of the best studios in London, brought it to UK and abroad music festivals, I have my own Wednesday evening community class that brings me so much joy, and I have built an online subscription platform to share the powers of this practice with anybody who wants to get their hands on it. My most recent development is training in Reformer Pilates to create a new branch of this concept, where I record mixes of ambient and downtempo to compliment the slow and mindful nature of this method.
I absolutely love what I do as much as I did when I started teaching 6 years ago, if not even more. It feels so right for me and I’ve learned and I am always learning so much— both musically and as an Instructor. It doesn’t get boring, To see and hear the impact this method has had on others is so deeply profound and rewarding. Thank you so much.

I’VE EXPERIENCED WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO FEEL LIKE MY BODY WASN’T ENOUGH. I HAVE EXERCISED FOR THE WRONG REASONS. THESE ARE HARD HABITS TO BREAK FROM, BUT THE TRANSITION HAPPENED FOR ME WHEN I FOUND A MOVEMENT PRACTICE THAT MADE ME THRIVE AND TAPPED INTO MY FEMININE ENERGY. A NON-PUNISHING PRACTICE THAT MADE ME FEEL GOOD DURING THE MOVEMENT— NOT JUST BECAUSE I GOT THROUGH IT.
I WILL HOLD A SPACE FOR YOU TO EXPLORE YOUR BODY WITH A NON-JUDGEMENTAL AND NON-MILITARY APPROACH. I WILL ENCOURAGE THAT YOU LISTEN TO THE SENSATIONS YOU FEEL AS YOU MOVE AND CHOOSE THE OPTIONS THAT SUIT YOUR BODY. I UNDERSTAND THAT EVERY BODY HAS A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE OF HOW EXERCISES FEEL, AND AM HERE TO LISTEN TO YOU, EDUCATE AND MOTIVATE YOU TOWARDS A TOTAL-BODY STRENGTH THAT MAKES YOU FEEL 10/10.
